Withintegratedshort-circuitand overcurrentlimiting, theTPS7B81protectsthesystemduringfault conditions.In additionto the low standbypower consumption,the verylow dropoutvoltagein light loadconditionshelpsmaintainregulationevenwhen poweredby depletedbatteries. The TPS7B81is availablein thermallyenhanced,8- pin HVSSOPand6-pinWSONpackages.Both packagesofferhighthermalconductivity,andtheir smallsizesupportscompactdesign,makingthem wellsuitedfor space-limitedapplicationssuchas powertoolsor motordrivemodulesandbattery packs.
